Being the last human born in a rapidly dwindling village of a dying race has left an impact on Kahil. Although sabre-tooths do not exist in his universe, my personal theory of connecting to the multiverse through the Dust of a person's dæmon means Symona's form would resonate with the idea of an extinct predator as matches to Kahil's personality and true emotional self-worth.
